Feedback from first draft

From our feedback given we were able to thankfully cut out the shaky zoom before it starts to do that whilst keeping as much of the shot as possible. We were also able to sort out the 180 degree rule by doing a tracking shot matching the shot of the first actress who is walking into the woods so it is clear that they are coming from different sides without messing with the rule. We changed the typography to AR JULIEN as it gives the film a more serious and traditional look as it has feet - by using this people can make assumptions that this is going to be a classic thriller style, since the characteristics of the typography convey the message of our overall opening/film. Additionally this is what one would consider as a versatile font so regardless of its surroundings it fits the environment within thriller conventions.

Risk assessment

Risk Assessment

  • Camera getting stolen. This can be prevented by putting the camera in a bag until needed, as well as always having an eye on it when in use.
  • In case fire since our location is open we can escape through any direction.
  • If anyone has serious injury we would call 999 immediately.
  • We have someone trained in first aid in our group, who will carry the first aid kit in case of minor injury.

Contingency plan:

In the event that our main actor(s) are injured we have stunt doubles that look alike that can fill in. Also, to make sure all primary actor(s) turn up on time we shall be planning the date and add the actor(s) to a whatsapp chat to which the title will be the date to meet as it’s unable to be missed. With some of the scenes we will have to keep the setting the same i.e. the same weather etc. To do this we shall shoot some of the scenes on the same day in one to make sure it remains the same and it’s not dry in one shot and wet in the other –which does not jar the audience as a high level of continuity is kept.

Questionnaire

For my storyline I have chosen my narrative to have a real life moral meaning as well as having a realistic feel as its based off of stalkers, however despite the majority preferred a male protagonist we have chosen to subvert that by making them female as well as lesbians. We have also added the enigma code of not knowing who is going to die as the protagonists are rarely killed off. We have and haven't got a linear because at the start its all a flashback but after that its all linear.
